The actor has yet to publicly address his health woes
Jamie Foxx seems to be in good spirits after the mysterious “medical complication” he suffered last April. The ‘Day Shift’ actor was seen smiling in a video posted by ‘TMZ’ as he cruised down the Chicago River on a boat.
The 55-year-old actor wore an all-black ensemble with aviator sunglasses for the weekend outing. He was accompanied by at least two other passengers. It was the first time the actor appeared in public after his hospitalization.
He has not yet spoken publicly about his health adventure. Jamie Foxx was hospitalized in Georgia on April 12, his oldest daughter Corinne shared on social media. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, has experienced a medical complication. Fortunately, due to quick surgery and great care, he is already on the road to recovery, he wrote at the time.

A source told TMZ that the actor’s health was “serious enough” at the time that his family traveled to be by his side. Before the medical emergency, he was filming the Netflix movie “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz.
