Actress Guta Stresser, 50, famous for her role as Bebel in “A Grande Família” (Globo, 2001-2014), says she is facing a serious financial crisis. Without a contract with the network, she regrets having lost even her home due to her inability to afford the financing.
“They bought my house at the auction. Since I ran out of contract with Globo, I haven’t been able to change my financing. I’m trying to invalidate the auction. I run the risk of leaving here with nothing I paid. The bank doesn’t want to know if I have multiple sclerosis and if I’m without a job”, he said in an interview with the newspaper O Globo.
As if that weren’t enough, she says that the treatments she took to get pregnant and to treat the disease would also have contributed to draining her finances.
“I tried several times [engravidar]but it didn’t work, and you don’t get your money back”, said the actress when explaining the artificial insemination attempts she made with her then husband, André Paixão, from whom she separated after 15 years.
“Those who have money are well off, employees can do it. People talk about abundance. It’s good that it came to them. Because, for me, abundance came and went like a breath”, he commented.
According to Guta, the current situation can be compared “to the same shit” before the success of the Globo series. “Except that I wasn’t 50 years old or sclerosis”, he pointed out.
