Kevin Costner will pay his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, a whopping $129,755 a month in child support.

This means that the amount is almost double what the famous actor had initially offered to his ex-wife. The decision is temporary and will be reevaluated at a later hearing, according to court documents obtained by Fox News.

The decision comes after Baumgartner was ordered to vacate Costner’s mansion by July 31. The details of the couple’s prenuptial agreement reportedly required Christine Baumgartner to move out within 30 days of filing for divorce, a deadline she had missed since she was the first to file.

According to court documents, she had said she would be moving out of their home on August 31, following the results of a court hearing originally scheduled for July 12, although it is unclear if that hearing is still in place. The latest ruling stipulates that both Kevin Costner and his ex-wife will share their children’s medical expenses 50-50. The former couple has three children.

They will also share the costs of the children’s expensive private school tuition, as well as the costs of their extracurricular activities, which include sports. Baumgartner wanted to avoid paying these costs, as she had requested that the actor cover them in full.

The actor was also saddled with additional costs after the judge ordered him to pay $200,000 in legal fees for his estranged wife, along with an additional $100,000 in court costs. His payments will be due on the first of each month, although he will be credited for payments he has already made since the beginning of July.
