Elle MacPherson she will soon turn 60, but she often impresses her fans with her age-defying looks.

The famous model has spoken many times that she owes her youth to proper diet and exercise. Taking to her Instagram story, the model shared an old NBC interview where she discussed her diet and how she looks so flawless in her fifties.

“When I turned 50 I didn’t feel too well and I didn’t look too well,” she admitted. “I noticed my skin, my hair and my weight… I just had no inspiration, I had sugar cravings and indigestion. So I went to my nutritionist and told him something is wrong, I need to address my lifestyle. He said I was taking too many synthetic vitamins so he gave me a multivitamin, prebiotics and probiotic powder. I was malnourished, I wasn’t sleeping much and I wasn’t eating enough fruit and vegetables, and I was drinking too much coffee.”

The supermodel said that after following the new diet her life changed completely, she was “transformed”, as she said. It was this change that led the model to start her own natural supplement business and wellness empire, WellCo.

“I didn’t love modelling, but I love what modeling has brought me,” she told ITV’s This Morning last May.

Asked if modeling has ‘opened’ many doors for her, she said: ‘I think it’s about us walking through those doors. Those doors can open, but you have to listen to your heart, trust your intuition and say ‘this feels right and I’m going to take a step in that direction’.”
