The businesswoman and influencer Maíra Cardi, 38, explained her disappearance on social media this Thursday (20), the same day that her husband Arthur Aguiar, 33, entered the Big Brother Brasil 2022 (Globo). According to her, the couple’s daughter Sophia, 3, spent the night in hospital.
“Sorry for the absence today, such an important day for us! Arthur’s arrival that you are already so proud of. Sophia spent the night and morning in the ICU,” Cardi said in a text post on Instagram. “I had decided not to say anything here and leave this battle as ours, but in the face of a strong prayer I came to the answer that this battle is ours!”, he added.
Cardi said she believes that “children are fragile and absorb all the evil”, and did not give details about her daughter’s current state of health. She even asked her followers to pray for them. “I ask all who believe in God who follow us, to put our family in prayer and intense protection.”
Arthur Aguiar’s wife ended the message saying: “We will really need the prayers of all these 3 months! Thank you”. Last Monday (17), the date on which BBB 22 officially debuted, Maíra Cardi was disappointed to discover – along with the public – that her husband would not enter due to his positive diagnosis for Covid-19.
With the crowd prepared, Cardi gathered friends and family to watch Aguiar on television, which did not happen. “I’m devastated. With less than 24 hours on the show, Arthur Aguiar has already spoken openly about his marriage to Maíra Cardi and daughter Sophia.
