Eutychis and Elektra, arriving at Amorgos, the first thing they see is the port of the island, Katapola, which they immediately explore, while they then continue to the neighboring Rachid and also Xilokeratidi.
In the afternoon, they go for a walk in the picturesque country with the narrow alleys, the impressive castle on the rock and the classic Cycladic windmills on the ridge above the settlement.
The next day, they begin the exploration of southern Amorgos: Mouros beach with its turquoise waters and steep cliffs and the village of Vroutsis with the ancient Arkesini. They try local flavors in the new Arkesini and continue to Kalofana and Agia Paraskevi Monastery. They go down to the imposing wreck of Olympia and end up in Kalotaritissa, one of the most impressive spots of Amorgos.
Our travelers complete the first part of their trip to Amorgos, with a visit to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Hozoviotissa and the idyllic little beach of Agia Anna.
