Singer Drake, 36, has revealed why he hasn’t married anyone yet. In an appearance on “The Really Good Podcast with Bobbi Althoff” last Thursday (20), when talking about his love life, the artist called the concept of marriage “an old-time thing”.
“I don’t know. It seems to be from ancient times or something. I think I’ll eventually get married,” he said. “I don’t know, I don’t think I can offer someone what they would be looking for. Just consistency. I think my life, my work is my priority.”
When the presenter joked that Drake refuses to “settle down” to continue “hanging out with a lot of people”, the rapper quickly denied it. He said he can’t offer “consistency” or dedicate himself to a relationship “at this point” in his life.
“I don’t want to get married because I don’t want to let anyone down,” he added. “I probably won’t end up marrying someone famous. Famous people aren’t really that intriguing.”
And when asked what qualities he looks for in a partner, the rapper said he wants someone who is “an individual.” “I like someone who is unique,” he explained. “They’re not just a copy, like a person I’ve seen several times throughout my existence. I like someone with a sense of humor, you know? I like… I don’t know, cosplay.”
