Recently, Pedro Pascal was visiting the small English seaside town of Margate, when he chanced upon an exhibition of paintings dedicated to him.

Accompanied by podcasters Robert Diament and Russell Tovey, his actor “The Last of Us” but found that the exhibition was not operating that day.

Undaunted, the trio then took a selfie outside the Rhodes Gallery to commemorate their failed visit and uploaded it to social media, along with the caption: “Margate art lovers reunited”.

It was absolutely fantastic,” the artist herself told the Independent this week. “Though I can imagine he was slightly embarrassed, with all this artwork dedicated to him. I am saddened that it appeared on a Sunday when the gallery was closed. I’d love for Robert (aka one of the podcasters) to bring it when we’re actually open“, he commented at the end.

For her part, Jessica Rhodes Robb, co-owner of the gallery, added that “we feel humbled that they could not enter. Our Sunday opening policy is definitely under review. We will send Pedro a gift from the exhibition as an apologys”.
