Hollywood star Jason Momoadevastated by what his countrymen are going through, in a new message on social media is urging people not to travel to Maui, in the wake of the fires that have ravaged Hawaii and led to at least 93 deaths.

Posting on social media, Jason Momoa, who hails from the state, urged his followers not to attempt to go to Hawaii. “Don’t convince yourself that your presence is necessary on an island that is suffering a lot”the 44-year-old actor wrote.
“Thanks to those who donated“, added the actor, who also republished posts of organizations in support of the fire-stricken island. Despite the difficult situation in Hawaii, Momoa appeared confident “we will be reborn, more united and determined».

Jason Momoa was born in Honolulu and speaks often and very proudly of his Hawaiian roots. Last November, while a guest on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, he stripped down and was left with only a traditional malo. “Actually, I don’t like wearing clothes anymore,” she said.
