“It’s wonderful, but I’m like a kid with a new toy.”
This is how presenter and actor Bruno De Luca, 41, defines the routine with little Aurora, 10 months old, and her first-time fatherhood. He joins other celebrities who will spend the first Father’s Day with their children (see who else in the gallery below).
“The most tiring moments are when she wakes up at night. But the demand is so much greater for the woman that my tiredness becomes a joke”, evaluates the presenter, highlighting the dedication of his daughter’s mother, Sthéfany Vidal. “The maternal bond is always greater.”
According to him, no matter how much he puts the baby to sleep, plays, dances and makes her burp, there are times when breast milk is all the little one needs. But he says he has been looking for ways to be even more supportive of his mother. “I intend to create more artifices to distract her so as not to overwhelm Sthéfany.”
Like Bruno, actor Jarbas Homem de Mello, 54, has also enjoyed his first experience as a father alongside Claudia Raia, 56. He says that Luca, 5 months old, has given another meaning to the family and says that the demands daily are under control. “What turns us upside down is the fact that there are hours left in the day to be with him. Any minute I have free I’m by his side.”
In Mello’s view, his role as a father is “to make Claudia comfortable and give support”, but he reinforces that he loves doing all the functions with the baby. “The anguish and problems end when he opens a smile.”
Former BBB Eliezer, 33, says that, for four months now, he has been trying to share all the tasks possible with the baby Lua, which he had with Viih Tube, 22. He considers himself “a number 10 in bathing and changing diapers”, but he confesses that he had difficulty understanding some of his father’s demands.
“To this day, when she cries, I say ‘hungry’, so Viih thinks it’s sleep and in the end it’s really sleep. I confess that, at first, it frustrated me because I considered myself a ‘bad’ father, but now I I’ve read it much better,” says the influencer.
He also remembers that, right after Lua was born, “it was desperate” not being able to sleep, but says that the worst is over. “It changes the way we live, think, relate and even take care of ourselves, because I thought: ‘Now I really can’t die or get sick’. I am a very lucky father because today she sleeps for ten hours straight. “
