The one and only Oprah Winfrey appears to be the favorite to secure the coveted interview with the embattled star
The turbulent life and sad personal history of Britney Spears (Britney Spears), has made the pop star the person that all Hollywood journalists would like to have an exclusive interview with.
Spears, 41, is set to release her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” on Oct. 24, when an interview is scheduled to promote the book.
It’s an interview every journalist in Hollywood wants to get and according to British magazine OK! she is offered “significant sums of money” to carry it out.
The one and only Oprah Winfrey appears as the favorite to win the coveted exclusivitywho during her career has received several important interviews, from Lance Armstrong to Michael Jackson, with her last major success interviewing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle,
As the magazine reports, Winfrey has a head start on other reporters as she tried to talk to Spears again in November 2021 after her father lifted her custody. Then the timing was not right as the pop star was trying to find her balance.
However, the decision should be made within the next month as the time limits for preparing the interview are getting tighter.
However, a source cited by the magazine believes it is too early for Spears to be able to give a full interview. “The proposal [συνέντευξης] remains complicated for Britney who continues to face challenges talking to strangers at length about personal aspects of her life,” the source noted. “The trauma didn’t go away overnight just because the surveillance period ended,” he added.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) ranked Britney Spears as the 8th best-selling female artist in the US, with sales of over 45 million certified albums. Nielsen SoundScan named her the tenth most successful artist in digital sales, with more than 30.1 million singles sold as of January 2012.
She has sold over 110 million albums, making her one of the biggest and richest artists of all time. Rolling Stone magazine recognized her immediate success as one of the “25 Greatest Debut Moments of All Time”, while music channel VH1 ranked her eleventh on their “100 Greatest Female Singers of All Time”.
