The presenter Fausto Silva is hospitalized at the Albert Einstein hospital, in São Paulo (SP), at least since last Wednesday (16). Out of television since he officially left the Band in June, the communicator was treating urinary problems, say sources at the F5. It was for this same reason that he was hospitalized in 2021, shortly before leaving Globo. Sources claim that the condition is not serious.
The hospitalization information was confirmed by Luciana Cardoso, Faustão’s wife, who did not detail the reasons that led him to the hospital. Still this Thursday (17), the family’s advisory and Albert Einstein should release a medical bulletin with details of the presenter’s health.
Faustão was in Miami (USA) until last week, when he returned to Brazil. Earlier this week, he complained of pain and was taken in for tests. In the coming days, Band will air the latest edition of “Faustão na Band”, which will feature the participation of the whole family. Lara Silva, the presenter’s only female daughter, will perform as a singer. Rodrigo and João Guilherme also participated. Anne Lottermann, formerly of Globo and Faustão’s partner at the São Paulo broadcaster, will also be on stage.
