Former couple Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis win lawsuit filed by nanny: ‘Exploitation’

by

Former acting couple Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have won a lawsuit filed by a former nanny who worked with them for three years. Ericka Genaro claimed in the lawsuit that she was forced to resign.

A judge in a Los Angeles court ruled on Wednesday. Now, the case must proceed outside the judiciary, through an agreement between the legal representatives of the parties involved. “We have text messages and testimony that she was tricked into resigning and then fired,” Ron Zambrano, a lawyer defending the employee, told Fox News.

After leaving to work for them, the nanny went public and exposed several events in the lives of Olivia and Jason, who acted in “Ted Lasso”. Among them, that the actress’s relationship with Harry Styles would have been the reason for the separation, in November 2020. The relationship with the singer became known in January 2021 and came to an end in December 2022.

The former couple got engaged in 2013 and stayed together for nine years. They are parents of two children. In April of this year, the artist accused Jason of not wanting to pay child support and mentioned in the process that he allegedly does not make payments intended for them since the breakup.

A representative of the two also sent a statement to the newspaper and said that they are waiting for the case to be closed, and classify the process as a selfish attempt to make money and exploitation of the couple in the media.
