Actor Sergio Marone wasn’t the least bit upset by the comments after he came out as ecosexual. In June of this year, the artist became a joke after claiming to be a supporter of the ideology, which exalts and reflects care for the planet through attraction. At the Brazilian Cinema Grand Prix, which takes place this Wednesday night (23), in Rio de Janeiro, Marone made a point of demonstrating that he was calm about the matter.
“It was a marketing strategy of my company called Tukano, which is a brand of natural, vegan and sustainable dermocosmetics”, he reinforced, in an interview with F5. “People talk a lot about saving the planet. It’s not the planet that we have to save, we have to save humanity. We have to guarantee a better future for all of us. So we managed to pierce the bubble, ecosexualize the theme of sustainability.”
Despite confessing that it was a sales move, he reinforces that he is really ecosexual. “I love to open the window and have a breeze on my face, I love to swim naked, I love to eat good organic things, I love to take a shower in the rain”, he lists, which he believes these actions are increasingly prohibitive, since there is a lot of pesticides in nature.
The actor even had fun with the funny comments. Tata Werneck, for example, stated that it was “you could tell by the size of the hollow trunk”. “I found it amusing, everything is a form of affection”, he agreed, between laughs.
