The anniversary program of the National Opera to complete the 100 years since the birth of Maria Callas culminating in a grand Opera Gala titled Callas in Herodion at September 16, 2023 in the Odeon of Herodes Atticus. Four distinguished tweeters with international acclaim, the Anna Pirozzi, Kathryn Foster, Vasiliki Karagiannis and Nina Minassianwill perform those arias that Kallas marked with her performance in her historic appearances at the Herodio in 1944 and 1957. Orchestra of the National Opera will be conducted by Philippe Oguen. PPC is the sponsor of the ELS program for Maria Kallas.
