The film celebrates the life of one of the greatest musicians, who won 10 Grammys
The first trailer for “Carlos,” a feature-length documentary film about legendary guitarist and global icon Carlos Santana, directed by Emmy Award-winning director Rudy Valdes, has been released.
Premiering earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival, “Carlos” combines new interviews with Santana and his family.
Unreleased archival footage, including family videos recorded by Santana himself, concert footage, behind-the-scenes moments, interviews with celebrities and associates in the music industry.
Celebrating the life of one of the greatest musicians, who won 10 Grammys, this special documentary will be released in cinemas initially as part of a three-day event entitled ‘Carlos: The Santana Journey Global Premiere’ through Sony Picture Classics and Trafalgar.
It will be screened on Saturday, September 23, Sunday, September 24 and Wednesday, September 27.
Screenings include “Carlos” and exclusive introductory content with Santana and two-time Emmy Award-winning director Valdez. Following the “Carlos: The Santana Journey Global Premiere” screenings, the documentary will begin general release on September 29.
