Ex-Rouge says he does not define himself sexually: ‘I like people’

Yet another artist had an honest conversation about sexuality and revealed past experiences with women. Karin Hils, one of the members of the former musical group Rouge, said that she has had romantic relationships with women, but said she does not define herself.

She said that she always knew she was going to date a woman because, when she was young, she watched and admired some. “I don’t know if I had an understanding, but I thought it was beautiful. A woman is something fantastic, people are beautiful. I didn’t have that dispute, I kept looking at her hair, her mouth, her manner.”

The singer stressed that she likes men a lot and that most of her relationships were with them, but that she never ruled out dating a woman. She even said that her first relationship with someone of the same sex was in 2007.

“I looked at her and said ‘this girl is not going to give me a break’, but she already liked me too and I didn’t know. One day, we had an event and we warmed up at the house. Between one drink and another and taking out photo, we kissed for the first time”, recalled in an interview with the DiaCast podcast.

The courtship came to an end, but she said that relationships between women are something different. “It’s something else, it’s no use.”. But she emphasized liking people: “intelligent people, beautiful people, lively people, and especially those who like me and accept and respect me the way I am.”
