Pete Davidson takes ketamine in his ‘battle’ with depressionaccording to “Page Six,” which cites the testimony of a close friend of his.

In the 70’s, the short-term anesthetic and analgesic effect of ketamine administration in humans was established for the first time. Today, ketamine is classified as an analgesic drug. Some people use ketamine for its hallucinogenic properties, while it is safe for use only in controlled medical practice. It can become dangerous if taken for recreational use.

Ketamine treatment has a rapid and short-term effect in reducing depressive symptoms and suicidal thoughts. This is confirmed by a review carried out by the University of Exeter, which analyzed data from 83 published studies.

The famous comedian has spoken openly about the mental health problems he faces many times in his interviews, in his attempt to help other people.
