ABBA star Agnetha Faltskogrevealed that a new single will be released on Thursday, August 31, 2023, making a fresh start in her career at the age of 73. Agnetha, singer with Anni-Frid Lyngstad of the hugely successful Swedish pop group, released her last solo album a decade ago.

According to reports last week, Agnetha has landed a massive record deal with BMG, which also owns Kylie Minogue.

The Swedish pop group ABBA was formed in Stockholm in 1972 by Agnetha, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid.

Her signing to BMG comes two years after the band reunited for the release of Voyage.

Agnetha married Bjorn after meeting him for the first time in a cafe when she was 19 years old. They married in 1971 and had two children, before splitting at the height of Abba’s fame.
