The second full moon of August monuments and archaeological sites are celebrating tomorrow, as this year events for the August Full Moon, which is organized for 23rd year the Ministry of Culture, were also held on August 1st, also a full moon nightu.

Specifically, the Ministry of Culture organizes the August Full Moon events under the coordination of the General Directorate of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage, offering free entry for the public to selected archaeological sites, museums, historical sites and monuments on Thursday, August 31, according to the posted program. The program mainly includes concerts, theatrical performances, stargazing and guided tours, which are organized by the Services of the Ministry of Tourism, many in collaboration with the local government and cultural and beautification associations.

It is noted that the archaeological site of the Acropolis is not included in the events of the Full Moon of August 2023, as informed by the Ephorate of Antiquities of the city of Athens. Consequently, it will not be open to the public on the evening hours of the full moon, Thursday 31 August.
