Australian actor and singer Jason Donovan he admitted in an interview on Radio 2 that he was “jealous” of her Kylie Minoguewhile noting that “always stood out». As the Daily Mail reports, the two met in their teens when they starred in the soap opera “Neighbors”while they were together for five years before splitting in 1989.

“Kylie is incredibly hardworking, a wonderful person with a great sense of humor. Even going back to the early days of the show and the beginning of her music career, it was obvious that she had a gift,” Donovan told Scott Mills and explained. “He’s one of those people who can, you know, walk into a room and learn a song in two minutes. I remember on Neighbors I was working on the script the night before and she would come on set and read 5 pages and get all the lines right. This does not necessarily mean that she would develop into an amazing artist but that is exactly what happened».

He also admitted that “I was jealous of her, oh my god I wanted that too, I was looking at her and I was like, ‘I want some of that,'” the star reported.
