Ludmila Ferber, pastor and gospel singer, dies at 56

Pastor and gospel singer Ludmila Ferber died this Wednesday (26) at the age of 56. The confirmation was made by the record company Sony Music Gospel on its Instagram account, which did not give details of the cause of death.

“Unfortunately our warrior left us, but here is her legacy, her songs, her example, her tenacity, her purpose, her struggle, her faith, her art, her poetry and her story! to everyone who somehow lived with our dear pastor! Now you can stop fighting. Rest in peace!”, he said on the social network.

Ferber had announced in 2018 that he was battling lung cancer. “In times of war, never stop fighting”, she said on her social media at the time. “I’m grateful for all the support I’ve received since the diagnosis.”

In March of last year, she returned to talk about the disease and said that she had suspended chemotherapy due to the increase in cancer cells in the liver. “It’s not easy, but God’s grace is enough to make us go through all the processes in our battles, until we overcome everything, and win,” he said.

Netizens mourned the artist’s death on social media. “Your battle is over, warrior. Receive the crown of life,” said one. “Forever in our hearts, as an example of faith,” said another. “The skies are celebrating. And here is the nostalgia”, concluded another.

Ferver started her career as a gospel singer in the 1990s and released her last album in 2019, “Um Novo Comço”. The record company did not give details about the artist’s funeral. She leaves three daughters.
