The popular musical escape series Music Escapades of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) continues him too September to introduce us to her space Greek alternative scenepresenting original artistic proposals, creators of the younger generation and unexpected musical encounters.

The new generation expresses its dreams and anxieties with rhymes in a special live on the Panoramic Steps of the SNFCC. The concert, which is also the last of the series for this summer season, will be opened by the rising star DJ Alexandra Pitsounirepresentative of the new current in rap music.

The concert takes place with free admission thanks to the donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

EXP

EXPE combines rap, trap and trip hop in a unique way. To date, she has released three personal albums and several singles, which have established her as a force to be reckoned with in Greek hip hop. Her debut album, Laguna (2020), showcased her raw talent and gathered her core fan base, followed by two more releases, PSTKN (2021) and Easy (2022), which lived up to her reputation musically flexible and innovative performer. She represents a new generation of artists that challenges the status quo, while her electrifying performances and imposing stage presence make her one of the most dynamic Greek rappers.

JOY

XARA is one of the most beloved young female voices in the Greek hip hop scene and a promising artist. He started writing poems at a young age, while a few years later he came into contact with hip hop culture to realize that poetry can be born in another way. She wrote her first rap songs at the age of 14, while in the last two years her music has been increasingly accepted, as she has entered the hip hop scene dynamically, with intense rhythms, strong and social lyrics. This year, her first personal album is also expected to be released.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is an international, environmentally sustainable public space for expression, culture and entertainment created with the initiative and exclusive donation of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). Designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano and RPBW, it was handed over to the Greek State and citizens in February 2017. It includes the new central facilities of the National Library of Greece and the National Opera, as well as Stavros Niarchos Park.
