The legendary Rolling Stones new music coming soon. The famous British band have announced that they are preparing to release their first album of original material in 18 years – since “A Bigger Bang” of 2005 which arrived at No.3 on the Billboard 200.

Details of the highly-anticipated new release, titled Hackney Diamonds, will be shared at an event in Hackney, east London, on September 6 and The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ron Wood . The event will be broadcast live on YouTube while a small teaser was released on Instagram with Jimmy Fallon receiving…a surprise phone call.

It was preceded by cryptic posts on social media, through which the band’s iconic logo “travelled” to major cities around the world such as New York, London and Paris.

According to the AP, the 24th album is also the Stones’ first since the death of drummer Charlie Watts, who passed away in 2021 at the age of 80. Rock legend Mick Jagger celebrated his 80th birthday on July 26 with Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Nile Rodgers sending him their best wishes on social media.
