The new images of Bruno De Luca’s reaction after Kayky Brito was run over will not be enough to make the police take a second statement from him. This is what delegate Angelo Lages, 16th DP of Barra da Tijuca, says. The information had been released by SBT and confirmed by F5.
According to the delegate, “a second statement from him is irrelevant to the case.” Furthermore, he states that the police are only waiting for the speed report of the vehicle that ran over the actor to close the investigation.
New images from security cameras show that De Luca crossed the avenue and returned to the kiosk after Kayky was run over on the night of September 2, on the beachfront in Barra da Tijuca, in Rio de Janeiro.
Obtained by RecordTV’s Domingo Espetacular program, the images are an extended version of those previously released, which show the presenter putting his hands on his head in despair when he realizes that there has been a collision.
Brito suffered polytrauma and traumatic brain injury and remains hospitalized at Copa D’Or hospital, in Rio de Janeiro. At another point on the camera, the presenter appears going to the back of the kiosk to speak to employees.
At no point does he provide help and leave. In his statement, De Luca stated that he only became aware that Brito was the one who had been injured the following day.
