Manchester United is advancing the procedures for “New Trafford”.

Can the Manchester United not being able to raise its head for years and going through a disappointing season this year, however the club brand remains very strong. The owners of the club are speeding up the procedures for the construction of a new stadiumwhich will replace “Old Trafford”.

The English club, headed by Sir Jim Ratcliffeintends to acquire new land around Old Trafford to complete the construction of its future stadium, which will have capacity of about 100,000 seats. Designed by British architect Lord Norman Foster, the project, nicknamed “New Trafford” will be iconic and visible from a distance of more than 40 kilometers.

Part of the land surrounding the current stadium is owned by a Marseille billionaire with links to Turki Al-Sheikh, who is close to the Saudi government. However, there is optimism in Manchester United’s ranks, as during the latest fan forum, the management assured that they are “in constructive discussions with the neighboring owners” and hope to reach an agreement “in the coming months” to finally start.
