Chico Moedas is the second most talked about topic at the moment on social media, second only to Luísa Sonza, his (now) ex-girlfriend, who exposed the end of their four-month relationship this Wednesday (20), alongside Ana Maria Braga, on Mais Você (Globo), after an alleged betrayal.

Chico Viegas, 27, lives in Niterói and became Chico Moedas because he invested R$10,000 of his father’s money in bitcoins (cryptocurrency), became a millionaire and shared the story on the internet. But he doesn’t teach how to invest and he already said in an interview that it’s better to continue like this: “The last people I taught, they all lost money.” The nickname became the name of his social media profile (@chicocoin), which was deactivated after the announcement.

He became known for being friends with Casimiro and for participating as a collaborator on the streamer’s channel. Together, they broadcast live sports games, commenting on famous people’s homes and Chico even participated in the coverage of the Qatar World Cup on Cazé TV.

Luísa met him and became interested when he appeared on the podcast Match: O Papo, presented by Valentina Bandeira. “Guys, who is this?” was the singer’s reaction, described by herself in her participation on the PodDelas Podcast. She said that, on the same day, she managed to get in touch.

A few months later, the two began dating, followed by the release of the song “Chico”, which has a Bossa Nova rhythm and is inspired by “Folhetim”, by Chico Buarque. In the first version, Gal Costa, one of the best-known performers, sings: “If you want me, I’m one of those women who only says yes”. Luísa’s retelling says: “Chico, if you want me, I’m one of those women you fall in love with.”

Chico’s profile reached 600 thousand followers on Instagram. He watched his girlfriend’s show at The Town from the front of the stage.
