Junno Andrade assumes paternity of 38-year-old son after DNA test

Actor and presenter Junno Andrade, 60, officially recognized the paternity of Eduardo Tadeu Mattos de Oliveira, 38, who was born in Ponta Porã (MS). The information was confirmed this Friday (29), through a statement sent by Andrade’s press office to F5. Xuxa’s boyfriend expressed his desire to establish ties with his son and regretted the fact that he had been deprived of contact with him all these years.

The statement also explained that paternity took time to be identified, in the judicial sphere, due to the son’s difficulty in attending laboratory tests previously scheduled by the Mato Grosso Court. “On 9/28/2023, the technical DNA examination report attested to the existence of genetic compatibility and, consequently, the paternity of Junno Andrade in relation to Mr. Eduardo Tadeu Mattos de Oliveira”, says the text.

The note emphasized the relief of resolving this long-standing impasse: “The conclusion of the expert examination carried out in the judicial paternity investigation process being processed in the 2nd Specialized Family and Succession Court of Cuiabá-MT puts an end to a situation of uncertainty and doubt supported by Mr. Eduardo and Junno himself for more than 30 (thirty) years.”

Finally, the statement emphasized Junno Andrade’s commitment as a father and the sadness of having been removed from his son’s life for so long: “With overcoming the doubt that arose due to the action proposed in 2020 – the year in which Mr. . Eduardo has reached the age of 36 -, Junno recognizes and assumes his responsibility as a father and will act in order to recover or adequately accommodate his position as a father. Therefore, this note aims to clarify the facts, and also to regret the fact that Junno was deprived of his son’s childhood and youth.”

The paternity recognition process began in 2021, when sales promoter Eduardo Tadeu, aged 36 at the time, filed a lawsuit after trying to carry out a DNA test with Junno Andrade.
