BBB 22: Scooby says he wants to be eliminated before Carnival if it doesn’t go to the final

by

Confined to the 22nd edition of Big Brother Brazil (Globo), surfer Pedro Scooby, 33, has been drawing the public’s attention for his speech of not caring about competition and, in a conversation in the leader’s room, he even said that, if not went to the final, I preferred to leave before Carnival.

“If I’m not going to go out in the final, I want to go out before Carnival,” he said, while chatting with leader Tiago Abravanel and actor Douglas Silva. The artist, leader in the first week of the program, scolded him and recalled that “there’s a lot to enjoy, post-Carnival and all”.

In response, Scooby reaffirmed: “If I make it through Carnival, I want to go to the finals.” Because he is confined, the athlete is not aware that numerous capitals canceled the street Carnival, including Rio de Janeiro, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

In São Paulo, the rise in Covid cases has already caused parades at the sambadrome to be postponed and events with street blocks cancelled. In addition, the city hall is still studying reducing the occupancy limit in nightclubs during the period.

In the early hours of Monday (31), the group of friends Pedro Scooby, Tiago Abravanel, Arthur Aguiar and Douglas Silvas spent hours talking about the wall formed between Rodrigo, Jessilane and Natália.

Scooby received some advice from friends who alerted him to what could be happening to his image on and off the show. “Arriving at the game and not having one, two, three, four voting options sounds like irresponsibility”, warned the grandson of Silvio Santos, 91.

Abravanel also told the surfer that he doesn’t need to lose his essence of not caring for the elimination, but that he needs to be more attentive to the dynamics of the house. Despite being very “good”, Pedro Scooby ended up getting involved in his first discussion within the reality show.

The moment also happened this morning when, after the formation of the wall, the athlete went to wish “good luck” to Natália – who indicated for the hot seat and despite the back and forth race, there was no escape.

The sister was bothered by Scooby’s attitude and said that his attitude was being “hypocrisy”. “Stop playing the good guy,” the participant told her colleague. “I’m just saying that if you wanted luck for me you wouldn’t have pulled me since I just came back from the wall”, he added.

Scooby tried to defend himself by arguing that Natalia nominated him for the wall the previous week and also said he had to be rational. “I had to pick someone at the last minute, for me it was rational.”

When Natália didn’t press her brother against the wall by saying that the program was his life, Scooby got defensive and countered saying that for him to be there is also important. “It’s okay and I left three kids at home with my wife. Everyone has a reason to be here.”
