The Madonna avoided paying a £300,000 fine at the last minute after breaking a ground rule during her concert “Celebration Tour” at the O2 Arena on Sunday 15 October 2023.
The 65-year-old singer was due to finish her show at 10.30pm, but she didn’t stick to that deal, bringing her concert to an abrupt end almost an hour later and leaving four songs out of her setlist.

It is believed that the concert was interrupted because the venue’s opening hours were not respected, according to the Daily Mail, which states that events at the arena end – at the latest – at 11pm Monday-Saturday and 10.30pm on Sunday.
THIS WAS SO CUNT! SHES 11 😱
Madonna’s daughter vogues & y’all WERE NOT screaming enough for me.
This is a full circle moment for one of the pioneers of bringing ballroom culture to the mainstream.
And DISRESPECTFULLY you need to scream for this kid until your lungs give out. 💅🏾💅🏾 pic.twitter.com/8Zdgo66FkW

During the show, Madonna stole the show as she took to the stage in satin underwear and was flanked by topless dancers. Distraught fans missed out on ‘Like A Virgin’, ‘B***h I’m Madonna’, ‘Holiday’ and ‘Celebration’, with which she closed her show.
