Madonna’s touring career began with “The Virgin Tour” in 1985, where he averaged over 10,000 tickets and earned $100,000 a night. The average ticket price for that tour was just $14.74, a far cry from the prices seen at today’s concerts.
However, the singer’s popularity skyrocketed with her next tour, the “Who’s That Girl World Tour” in 1987, which tripled its appeal and nearly quintupled its sales force in just two years.
