Extension of his appearances in the unique “Las Vegas Sphere” took the legendary band U2. After the first nine shows, starting in 2019, at the global music and entertainment arena in Las Vegas, the Irish superstars have announced 11 new dates for 2024, bringing the number, in total, to 36 concerts (for now). It is noted that the end credits of the original 25 concerts “U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere” was to “fall” on December 16.

So Bono and his company will return to the stage on January 26, 2024, while their last appearance is set for February 18. According to their manager, Irving Azoff, in Variety, “U2 have the option to continue at ‘Sphere’ for two more years”.

The band opened the most spectacular space they have created in recent years in the shape of a giant sphere on September 29. While it is the first time since October 1978 that he has appeared without drummer Larry Mullen Jr., who is recovering from recent surgery with Krezip drummer Bram van den Berg filling in for him.
