Azealia Banks collects controversies on the web and, this Wednesday (25), she was involved in yet another when she shared insults towards Anitta on Instagram. The singer was also accused of xenophobia when she said that the funk singer has a “third world vibe”.
“Nobody likes you. You’re ugly (…) You have this third world vibe (…) And that’s what’s holding you back, and originality. You know what I’m saying”, she said between a series of videos with a black image shared on his closed Instagram account and replicated by internet users this Wednesday (25).
The singer criticized Anitta’s work and said that her international career did not work out. “Girls in Miami talk about how no one gives a shit about you. Go home,” she said.
Internet users attacked the singer on social media and called her prejudiced for criticizing the Brazilian funk singer’s success. “It must be difficult for Azealia Banks to see a Brazilian enter her country and earn hundreds of times more than she has ever earned in her life, Azealia has a “fortune” of 3 million dollars, while Anitta has more than 100 million dollars” , said user Michel on X, former Twitter.
Anitta would have responded to the comments with a Tweet praising her own work. “Good morning to those in demand,” she wrote on her profile.
Azealia also criticized Neymar, chosen as a model for Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand. “Not him, Kim, he’s very thin. He doesn’t have a big suitcase, don’t ruin it, sister,” she wrote in one of the publicity posts.
