Luísa Sonza gets angry after the audience gets the lyrics wrong in the new version of ‘Chico’: ‘Maximum hesitation’

by

Luísa Sonza is taking seriously changing the lyrics of the song “Chico”, written for her ex-boyfriend who cheated on her. In the early hours of this Thursday (26), the singer participated in the recording of the DVD of the pagode group Menos é Mais and was irritated when the audience sang the original lyrics.

In videos circulating on social media, she asks the band to go back to the beginning after teaching them how to replace “Chico, se tu me queres” with “se chance me me.”

“Are you kidding me? They said Chico. Come back, come back. To learn, I hesitate a lot”, she says. It was at the first show after the betrayal that she informed about the change and, at the time, she said that the name didn’t mean anything.

“To further paraphrase Chico Buarque, let’s sing ‘if you want me’. Ok? That name is just a name and this song is for Chico Buarque.”

The singer also has another version available, made by Ana Carolina. Last weekend (26), the artist performed the song with another version.

“I have some friends who are wonderful, I’ll introduce you. With Chico it was cachaça, but with a ‘shoe’ it’ll be hot. Luísa, if you want, there are lots of women to sign with you. And make some noise, please, whoever do you agree with me”,
