Gwyneth Paltrow posted a post on her personal Instagram account about the death of Matthew Perry.

The two lived one romantic romance in the summer of 1993 before the airing of the popular series “Friends” that launched Perry to fame.

The Oscar-winning actress, 51, referred to their first meeting, when they shared a kiss during what she describes as a “magical summer”.

“I met Matthew Perry in 1993 at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts,” he recalls. “We were both there most of the summer doing shows.”

“He was so funny, so sweet and so much fun to be around.”

“We drove out for a swim, drank beers at the local college bar, kissed in a field full of grass,” she revealed, adding, “It was a magical summer.”

Gwyneth wrote that at the time of their meeting, the actor had already done tests for the series “Friends”.

“We were friends for a while until we drifted apart, but I was always happy to see him. I am very sad today, as are many of us. I hope Matthew is finally at peace,” she wrote.
