Actress Gwyneth Paltrow, 51, who had a brief relationship with Matthew Perry, the “Friends” actor found dead at home, decided to make a publication to pay tribute to her ex and friend. Both had some secret meetings around 1993, when they were doing plays, even before the hit series aired.

“He was so funny and so sweet and it was so much fun to be with him. We went swimming in streams, we had beers at the local college bar, we kissed in a field of tall grass. It was a magical summer,” he recalled.

“We remained friends for a while until we broke up, but I was always happy to see him. I’m super sad, like so many of us are. I hope Matthew is finally at peace. I really want to,” she wrote in the post.

Interestingly, other childhood crushes appeared in the same publication. They remembered the time when they were teenagers and had a relationship with Perry. Among them Hadley Boyd.

“Oh my God, I had no memory of him being Matthew Perry. I’m just now putting it all together. I was 13 and I had a summer boyfriend at tennis camp whose father was an actor and he came to visit me. And because of that post now I remember it was Matthew Perry. Thanks for tagging me,” she wrote. On that occasion, the artist sang a song for her.

Another woman, named Amy, took advantage of the publication and wrote that she also admired the actor. “I was 12 or 13, he was a few years older… I had a crush on him.”
