“Feeding Creativity” is the title of her new cookbook-diary Mary McCartneycook, photographer and daughter of Beatles legend Paul McCartney.

In her book she lists 60 plant-based breakfasts, lunches, dinners and dessertswhich he shared with family, friends and celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Cate Blanchett, David Hockney, Jeff Koons, Elvis Costello and Judi Dench.

The idea, as McCartney says in the introduction to the book, was born when she was preparing meals for her friend Peter Blake in the small kitchen of his studio, where she often photographed those who sat for the artist to paint their portraits. “I decided to offer food to creative people I was visiting and see where the journey took me. The book not only combines cooking and photography, but also highlights how delicious and easy cooking without meat can be» he emphasizes.

Mary McCartney hosts the cooking show ‘Mary McCartney Serves It Up!’ In 2022, her first documentary, ‘If These Walls Could Sing’ about the history of Abbey Road Studios received very positive reviews. Her photographs are featured in major private and public permanent collections, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the National Portrait Gallery in London and the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès in Paris.
