Presenter Christina Rocha used social media this Sunday (5) to say that she is one of the victims of the blackout that hit São Paulo in recent days. She complained about the negligence of public authorities and, mainly, of Enel Brasil, the company responsible for supplying energy in the state.
“Here we go with more than 40 hours without electricity! Everything is ruined here at home! What incompetence from @EnelBrasil. This is a shame”, complained Christina, who claimed to have lost all the food she bought for two weeks. “I no longer have a house, I no longer have food and I live in the south zone, in Morumbi. Congratulations, how cool, how cool. Remembering the phrase from my dear friend Boris Casoy: ‘this is a shame’, he commented.
After last Friday’s storm (3) which left 2.1 million São Paulo residents without power, Enel stated that power should only be completely restored next Tuesday (7). According to the company, the Most of those affected are in the capital of São Paulo.
Christina Rocha did not forgive the company’s explanation. “It is absurd and unacceptable to see that we have an incompetent company, @enelbrasil, running the largest city in the country, SP. More than 40 hours without electricity! In 2 days there would have been time to put things in order if it had been a company of respect! Shame and disrespect towards the population of São Paulo”, he concluded.
