Fans of the movie “The Joker” idolized Joaquin Phoenixas “the greatest actor who ever lived,” as a video of test footage from the first film was released.

The award-winning film ‘Joker’ hit theaters on October 4, 2019, with director Todd Phillips eagerly awaiting the sequel, ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’, which will be released on October 4, 2024.

In the footage, the 49-year-old actor, who won the best actor award at the Oscars, was seen doing a make-up test. Fans have bowed to his “absolutely believable” and “terrifying” performance years after the film was first released.

In November, the director… “taunted” his fans with yet another still from the much-anticipated film. The 52-year-old director “uploaded” to his Instagram account a photo of the actor, Joaquin Phoenix.

The filming of the sequel – which loosely translates to: “Madness for Two” – began in December 2022 and took place in various areas of New York with the last shots taking place on the famous steps of the Bronx.

“Joker” managed to exceed 1 billion dollars in receipts at the global box office and gave Joaquin Phoenix the Oscar for Best Actor. The New York Times in 2020 called him one of the greatest actors of the 21st century.
