Ana Hickmann appears at the police station after a disagreement with her husband, Alexandre Correa

Ana Hickmann was at a police station in Itu (in the interior of São Paulo), where she lives, on Saturday afternoon (11). The Record presenter went to the scene to provide clarification after the Military Police were called because of a fight between her and her husband, Alexandre Correa.

Hickmann thanked his fans for their concern, who have flooded social media with messages since the news went viral, after being discovered by the local press. According to her press office, she “is at home, well and fortunately did not suffer any major consequences to her physical integrity.”

Wanted by F5, Alexandre Correa did not respond to interview requests to comment on the fact. Speaking to the Léo Dias portal, the businessman classified the news as “fantasy”. “Where are you getting this from? Look, there must be some mistake there, I don’t think they must be dealing with the same person,” he said.

Last week, Correa spoke to F5 about an action that the couple’s company, Hickmann Serviços Ltda., is taking against Banco do Brasil because of a debt of around R$1.2 million. He said he took the case to court to try to reach an agreement because the amounts would be “exorbitant and unrealistic”. When contacted, Banco do Brasil says it does not comment on the case due to banking and commercial secrecy.

In October, Correa and Hickmann’s company had already been notified of another lawsuit, filed by a cooperative alleging non-payment of a loan. The information was confirmed to the F5 by the São Paulo Court of Justice. The value of the share is more than R$2.4 million.

According to Correa, it is “a future loan debt.” There is a deadline for this and it cannot be taken to a present value. There is no default,” she said. “We don’t want to tarnish the name of Ana Hickmann, a woman who only works and produces, who promotes female empowerment.”
