Alexandre Corrêa, 51, accused of attacking his wife, Ana Hickmann, has had other controversies in his life. Behind the scenes, the businessman is known for his harsh way of dealing with different situations.
In the 2018 and 2022 elections, Corrêa declared his vote and campaigned firmly to win voters for former president Jair Bolsonaro. He even recorded a video that was reposted by Flávio and Carlos Bolsonaro showing reasons why he should be re-elected.
In 2012, Corrêa experienced another controversy, this time with Adriane Galisteu. At the time, Galisteu said that Ana Hickmann would be a better person if she were a mother.
The businessman was outraged and gave a response considered prejudiced, saying that Galisteu was a lesbian.
With such aggressiveness, the statements scared Adriane Galisteu. “I’m starting to get scared of him. The way he screams, he’s capable of hitting me”, declared Galisteu in Band at the time. Today, colleagues from Record, Galisteu and Ana have already made peace.
Currently, Correa manages, alongside the model, the company Ana Hickmann Ltda, which negotiates the use of the presenter’s name in products, advertising and media actions.
Recently, it came to light that the company is accumulating debts and is in battle against Banco do Brasil in court, due to the collection of a debt of R$1.2 million. In total, the debts total almost R$3 million.
In 2020, Corrêa underwent treatment for neck cancer. After treatment, during which Ana Hickmann publicly showed solidarity with him, he was considered cured.
