Boyfriend of Luana Andrade (1994-2023), an influencer who died this week after liposuction on her knee, João Hadad revealed that she had a disease in the region that made her look for a plastic surgeon in an interview with Globo’s Fantástico program this Sunday ( 12).
Luana had a disease called Lipedema, according to family members. The stage assistant on the program Domingo Legal, on SBT, had been causing pain in the region since she was a teenager. According to institutes, the disease affects around 5 million Brazilian women.
“She was always very careful, she always researched everything well. She had this problem since she was young, it always bothered her a lot since she was 13 years old,” said Hadad.
Luana’s mother was also at Fantástico and confirmed the fact. “Luana loved herself very much, but she always complained about this problem, as long as I knew her,” she said. In addition to liposuction on her knee, the model underwent corrections to her abdomen.
“There were no questions on my part. What happened to me, what I realized, is that it was a fatality. It can’t be explained”, commented Hadad.
“We are sure of one thing and we agree: Luana was very peaceful”, concluded Hadad.
Luana’s boyfriend and mother authorized the donation of Luana Andrade’s organs, which have already been transplanted into other people. “My daughter lives in other people,” said the model’s matriarch.
