The delegate who assisted Ana Hickmann, 42, during the report of domestic violence last Saturday (10) in Itu, in the interior of São Paulo, Márcia Pereira Cruz spoke about the situation and stated that the report that will indicate possible attacks will be released within 20 days .

Furthermore, the police officer stated that she will summon Alexandre Correa, 51, husband of the Record presenter, to testify and give his version of the case this week. He will be investigated for assaulting his wife based on the Maria da Penha Law.

“We have 30 days to complete the investigation, which can be extended for another 30 if necessary. We will summon the suspect in the coming days”, said the delegate in an interview with TV Tem, a Globo affiliate in the interior of São Paulo.

Márcia also praised Ana Hickmann’s attitude in denouncing what she suffered, despite the great exposure she will have for being a famous person. For her, the model will be an example for all women.

“I, personally, thought she had a lot of courage to come to the police station and register the incident, despite all the exposure she is getting in the press for being a famous person”, concluded the delegate.

Ana Hickmann spoke about the case at the end of this Monday’s edition (13) of Record’s “Hoje em Dia”. The former model thanked the expressions of affection, but chose not to detail what happened to her.

“I wanted to thank you for the messages. It’s a difficult time for me, for my son and for my family. But I’m not ready to talk about it. Once I am, stronger, I will bring everything that is in my heart,” she said .

Correa, in a message published on Instagram, admitted an argument with her, but stated that it was an isolated incident with no consequences.

“In fact, yesterday, I had a disagreement with my wife, an absolutely isolated situation, which did not generate any major consequences,” he said.

“I would also like to clarify that I never head-butted her, as is untruely being reported in the press, and that everything will be duly clarified at the appropriate time”, commented Correa.

According to the report contained in the police report, Correa pressed the presenter against the wall and threatened to headbutt her. When she freed herself and ran outside to get her cell phone and call the police, the businessman allegedly closed a sliding door with force, trapping the woman’s left arm, which was injured.
