This Monday (13), Ana Hickmann’s husband confirmed the attack on the presenter on Saturday (11). Two days after she filed a police report for bodily injury and domestic violence, Alexandre Correa claims that he lied when he initially denied what happened.
“When I saw that note, I went into total despair and denied it. Did you lie? I lied. Period. Or did I omit the fact? I omitted it. I was on a road, desperate, bewildered. I was lost. I said: ‘my God in heaven'”, he said.
Correa also states that he was panicked by the repercussions of the case, classified, according to him, as a “disintelligence between couples”. “Why didn’t I argue, why didn’t I get up from the table, why didn’t I go to the corner, didn’t I go get some water? Why didn’t I go bang my head against the wall. I don’t know. But it’s over”, he told the Splash portal.
In a post on Instagram, the businessman denied that he headbutted Hickmann.
“I would also like to clarify that I never head-butted her, as is untruely being reported in the press, and that everything will be duly clarified at the appropriate time.”
The presenter participated in the Hoje em Dia program this Monday morning (13). At the end of the show, she said she didn’t feel ready to talk about the subject because the moment was difficult.
“I wanted to thank you for the messages. As soon as I’m stronger, I’ll bring everything that’s in my heart.”
