What happened last season?
The BBC’s second cycle of Time may have a completely different cast, but it’s on parallel paths. The first season, for those who have forgotten, focused on two characters, the relationship that develops between a prisoner and a guard.
A deeply religious and moral warden, whose faith and principles are tested, a prisoner wallowing in remorse for the murder he committed (accidentally) and a completely raw and objective representation of daily life in prisons, which also reflects the weaknesses and injustices of the prison system.
