Apple TV+ shared the first images from the new drama series “The New Look” with their protagonists Ben Mendelsohn and Juliette Binoche in the roles of legendary fashion designers.

“Set during the Nazi occupation of World War II Paris, ‘The New Look’ series focuses on the pivotal moment in the 20th century when the French city brought the world back to life through the fashion of Christian Dior. As Dior leaves an iconic mark of beauty and influence with his groundbreaking experience, Chanel’s reign as the world’s most famous fashion designer is in jeopardy. The saga follows the astonishing stories of Dior’s contemporaries and rivals, from Chanel, Pierre Balmain, Cristóbal Balenciaga and more,” reads the official synopsis.
Apple TV has partnered with Dior to offer “a stunning presentation of the atelier, designs and clothes created by Christian Dior.”
Jack Antonoff scores the series’ soundtrack, which features 20th-century hits covered by Lana Del Rey, Florence Wells, Nick Cave and more.
