The city of São Paulo decided to welcome Taylor Swift and the singer’s thousands of fans, who will arrive in the capital of São Paulo for the three shows of “The Eras Tour”. São Paulo residents created a bench-shaped panel at the Sé subway station for “swifties” and anyone else who wants to take a photo sitting next to the “Cruel Summer” performer.
The installation, with the words “Welcome to São Paulo”, was created by SPTuris, a tourism company owned by the city of São Paulo, in partnership with the fan club Central Taylor Swift Brasil and the metro. The singer appears sitting on a bench with her legs crossed and dressed in a long-sleeved blue blouse, shorts and black sneakers.
The panel will be available at the station until Monday (27). Taylor also won a projection on the largest ferris wheel in Latin America, Roda Rico, in Parque Villa-Lobos, this Thursday (23).
The singer had already been honored with several images projected on Christ the Redeemer, on the eve of her first show in Rio, on Thursday, November 16th. Taylor performs in São Paulo, at Allianz Parque, on the 24th, 25th and 26th of November and ends his second visit to Brazil.
She came for the first time, in 2012, to promote her album “Red”, she participated in some programs and held a pocket show. In 2019, the singer announced dates in Brazil for the “Lover Fest” tour, for shows in 2020, but did not perform due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
