Natalie Portman will complete 30 years of career in 2024. The actress, who is promoting the recently released film “Secrets of a Scandal (2023)”, in the United States, spoke about the difficulties of an artistic career and took a stand against child labor in Hollywood.
“I wouldn’t encourage young people to go into this career,” Portman said. “I’m referring to children and I feel almost like an accident, a stroke of luck that I didn’t end up damaged, even harmed. Furthermore, I had very protective and wonderful parents by my side. Portman, 42, won the Oscar for best actress in 2011, for ‘Black Swan’ (2010). In “Secrets of a Scandal”, she plays the actress Elizabeth, who is preparing for a new role. In fiction, the character will play a woman named Gracie (Julianne Moore), famous for a sexual scandal with a young man. The film opens on January 18th in Brazilian cinemas.
