Baz Luhrmann’s classic ‘Australia’ made into a series, with ‘Faraway Downs’ (starring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman) to be available from Sunday, November 26, on Disney+, in Greece.

With their protagonists Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, Bryan Brown, Brandon Walters, Ben Mendelsohn, David Wenham and Jack Thompsonthe story centers around an English aristocrat, Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman) who travels to the other side of the world to confront her wayward husband and sell an unusual asset: a 4 million acre ranch in her hinterland Australia.

After her husband’s death, a ruthless Australian landowner, King Carney (Bryan Brown), hatches a plan to take her land and she joins forces with a tough shepherd (Hugh Jackman) to protect her property . The sweeping adventure is explored through the eyes of young Nala (Brandon Walters), an Australian Aboriginal child.
