Pizzeria da Vila Romana is elected the best of SP in contest; See all champions

The Paranda 228 pizzeria, in Vila Romana, was elected the best pizzeria in the city of São Paulo in the first edition of the sp8 pizzas contest. The announcement was made during an open event this Saturday (12), at the Immigration Museum.

In second place was the mercies, in Perdizes, and third, to Veridiana, in Higienópolis. The champions were elected by public vote. In the first stage, Paulistanos voted for addresses in categories such as the best pizza in Calabresa and for each region of the city.

In the second stage, the three most voted pizzerias in each region were classified. Then a technical jury claimed the five winners. They are Castelões (East Zone), Balcony 228 (West), Pizza Chena (South), Jullia (North) and Veridiana (Center).

The most voted of all took the biggest title. Among other categories are the best pizza in Calabresa: the elected was Baco di Napoli, Ipiranga, Best Marguerita (Mercio, in Perdizes), Portuguese (Pizza Chena, Brooklin) and Best Delivery (Remanso, in Guarani Park).

The new contest was created by the gastronomy journalist Miguel Icassatti, creator of Boteco’s culture, and chef Eduardo Maya, who also created the contests standard and Comida di Buteco.
